Founded as The Zitter Group in 1989 in San Francisco, the company initially produced conferences and conducted custom research with a variety of stakeholders on managed care trends during the time when payer impact increased dramatically. We quickly developed the nation’s largest payer research panel and other healthcare stakeholder panels. As the managed markets landscape became more complex, we began to offer our services in multi-client subscription formats, providing more research at less cost. We recently changed our name to Zitter Health Insights to reflect our completed transition to a syndicated research and business intelligence firm working with pharmaceutical, biotech and medical products companies, payers, physicians, practice managers, hospitals, pharmacy benefit managers, and other healthcare stakeholders.
